The Washington Commanders will have three pieces available, including two in line to make their season debut, against the San Francisco 49ers in week six

The Washington Commanders will officially have a key piece back ahead of the week six meeting on Monday Night Football.

The team announced on Monday afternoon that cornerback Trey Amos has officially been removed from the injury report, paving the way for the second year starter to make his season debut against the San Francisco 49ers. Amos was one of two that head coach Dan Quinn noted will return to a full week of practice ahead of week six. Amos joined safety Nick Cross back in practice this past week with general manager Adam Peters noting during his radio interview on 106.7 that Cross is trending in the right direction to make his return.

As for Amos, the promising cornerback has yet to appear in a game since week ten of his rookie season after suffering a fractured fibula in the midst of a breakout season, though also the start of what has proven to be a long road to recovery. Amos was also placed on the PUP list prior to training camp, then placed him on injured reserve ahead of the regular season opener after appearing for all of 30 minutes during practice in August.

Amos is one of three players who were officially activated alongside linebacker Jordan Magee and running back Jeremy McNichols.
