Lamb and Prescott are a formidable duo, with No. 88 having one of his better camps this offseason as the chemistry continues to build between the pair.
Since the Dallas Cowboys drafted CeeDee Lamb back in 2020, his connection with Dak Prescott has continued to grow.
To the point where Dak and CeeDee are one of the best QB/WR tandems in football, and are the prime movers for the Cowboys' offense.
Yes, there have been down moments, with Lamb's drop issues and Dak's injury troubles, but when both are at the top of their game, they're nearly unstoppable.
Lamb has had five straight seasons of 1,000+ yards, and Dak has been a large part of making CeeDee into the All-Pro weapon we know him to be.
And as the pair continue to grind through another preseason together, the chemistry and bond are only getting better, which can be a scary thought for the rest of the league.
As for CeeDee, when it comes to his connection with Dak, it starts with himself.
"I love getting better," Lamb said. "That's one thing about me. That's why you'll see here I'm not having my most amazing camp ever, but I've gotten the best that I've ever gotten out of all of my camps.
"That's just because of the growth that I'm having of just mentally putting myself in position for the game. I'm not afraid to fail. That's one thing about me. So I'm going to go run this route, and I'm going to see if I like it. If I don't, I don't.
So for Dak, I want to run a route that's helpful to him, clear to him. If he know what I'm running, I'm not worried about nothing else. As long as I'm in my spot where I need to be, I get the ball in my hands, I'll handle the rest."
A big part of the pair's dominance has been the confidence in one another.
Dak knows that if Lamb is supposed to be, that ball is coming out, and the All-Pro will take care of the rest.
So many times we have seen Prescott release the ball before Lamb is even out of his break, then for No. 88 to turn his head around, catch the football, and turn upfield. That doesn't
just happen; it takes years to develop that sort of connection.
Yes, Pickens is the talk of the town right now after his 2025 season and Lamb's "down" year, but don't forget what a monster 88 can be, particularly with a full bill of health and another offseason with No. 4.
