The dust is beginning to settle on the Dallas Cowboys' decision to move on from All-Pro corner Trevon Diggs.
With the Cowboys citing several factors that led to the decision to part ways, Trevon found his way to Green Bay and Micah Parsons for the rest of the 2025 season.
Having been with the Cowboys since 2020, the change in scenery for Diggs could be beneficial, and for the Cowboys, moving on from that saga was in their best interest.
But for CeeDee Lamb, who had his locker right now to Trevon's, was it a little odd coming into The Star and not seeing Diggs?
"Yeah, absolutely,” Lamb said. “I went in his locker as soon as I got in here, I was like, "Damn, he's not here no more." It's kind of crazy considering we came in together. That's my brother. He knows that it's all love between me and him. Hope he go do it.”
And there is another interesting thread to pull here.
With Diggs moving on, Lamb is now the last member of the 2020 draft class to still be with the Cowboys.
Diggs, Tyler Biadasz, Neville Gallimore, Bradlee Anae, and Ben DiNucci are all no longer with the Cowboys.
But make no mistake, that fact isn't lost on 88.
"I know, trust me, I know, but that's crazy I'm the last," a smiling Lamb said.
With one regular-season game left to navigate before Lamb and the Cowboys can officially close the book on what has been a horror 2025 season, attention will be on making sure Dallas ends the year with a win.
The New York Giants at MetLife Stadium is the task at hand. And it's one Dallas will do, knowing that a win will see them finish 8-8-1 and 5-1 in the division.
The season will be remembered for a host of reasons, and maybe CeeDee being the last one standing from the 2020 draft class will top the list.
