It appears Dak isn't too concerned about the Cowboys' travel early in the season.
The Dallas Cowboys now know their entire 2026 schedule for Brian Schottenheimer's second year, and there is a brutal start on the cards.
After facing the New York Giants and Washington Commanders, the Cowboys will embark on a three-game stretch in just 11 days.
That sounds tough enough, but context is key, and it only makes it worse for the Cowboys.
Dallas plays in Brazil against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, which will mean a roughly 10-hour flight in one direction. They will then take on the Houston Texans and, just four days later, host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on prime time.
Three games. 11 days. That's the schedule for Dallas.
Of course, Thanksgiving every year is similar for Dallas, but this season, with the early-season gauntlet, it'll be doing it twice.
Not that Dak Prescott is too worried.
"The travel will be tough, but it's part of growing this game," Prescott said via Joe Hoyt of the Dallas Morning News. "We'll manage. We'll figure out the best way to take care of our bodies. We've been a part of three games in 11 days every year pretty much with our Thanksgiving Day game, so it's nothing new. We just have to do it earlier.
"What it is: if you can get on top and win those games, it happens fast. You have to make sure you're locked in and don't let those games get by you."
The Cowboys won't know what a good night's sleep is for those three weeks, but there is a benefit to it.
As Dak mentioned, if you can stack wins during that period, Dallas could rattle off a quick three-game winning streak that helps set up the season.
Of course, if it goes the other way, the Cowboys could be in a big hole early on, so, you know, glass half full.
Having been no strangers to playing so many games so close together, the Cowboys are better equipped than most to deal with it. The downside is they are playing three top teams in that span.
But Prescott doesn't seem to be bothered by it, and in truth, the Cowboys just have to power through and what will be, will be.
It could either set up Dallas' season, or it could blow it apart.
And I'm fascinated to see which it is.
