Overshown hasn't been sighted since Week 1 due to a hamstring injury, but he's pushing to play Sunday night against Green Bay.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown has been working his way back from yet another injury, this time a hamstring injury picked up against the New York Giants in Week 1.

For "Agent 0" it seems to "always be something" as his body consistently fails him.

But after two knee injuries and now a hamstring injury, Overshown is itching to get back on the field, but we know the Cowboys are going to be cautious with him.

For some fans, it's getting to the point where they want to move on from Overshown simply because he seems injured all the time.

Your best ability is availability and Overshown hasn't had that consistently.

But could he be ready to roll at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night?

We've now got the Wednesday injury/practice report, via our Mike Fisher ... and we've got a hot take from "D-Mo'' himself.

The injury report?

Overshown did do some individual drills but officials was one of five Cowboys with DNPs. (Tyler Guyton and CeeDee Lamb might be dinged up, but they went through full workouts).

So we're inching toward good news, maybe?

"Am I good to go this week? I can't answer that question, but I feel good," Overshown said this week. "Thursday, really physical practice, a lot of walkthroughs, but yeah, I feel good. I will practice, and shoot, hopefully I'll be ready Sunday night."

Overshown has had to overcome numerous injuries, and the fact that he's only played 20 games (18 starts) since being drafted in 2023 says it all about his trials and tribulations.

But that doesn't mean he is going to throw in the towel; in fact, he says he feels better now than he did before his injury.

"I can just say I feel better than what I felt when the injury happened," he said. "I'm running around. I'm doing everything you can as a football player. These hammies are tricky. So, you can have six good days in a row, and then out of nowhere something happens. So, right now I'm feeling great. I'm feeling like I can run around and do everything I could before the injury.

"So, at this point it's just how practice go throughout the week, how to hammy handle all the stresses of a full 60 minutes of football."

So, in a nutshell, Overshown feels good, but the only way to truly know if he is good to go is to play and see how the hamstring fares with real NFL bullets flying.

We know that practicing at tempo and simulating an NFL game is one thing, but playing with all the adrenaline, getting hit, getting back up, and doing that over and over again is another thing entirely.

And with this player? There is certainly a "risk'' in rushing him back.

Overshown has had a promising but rough start to his NFL career with injuries derailing it, and maybe come Sunday night, he'll get the chance to kickstart his 2026 season.
