Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season will be looked back on as a horrible week.
The Dallas Cowboys saw their season end, and Patrick Mahomes and Micah Parsons both suffered ACL injuries.
Micah is a Green Bay Packer now, but he still holds a place in the heart of many in Cowboys Nation ...
Including the guy who traded him away.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, when asked his thoughts on Parsons' injury on 105.3 The Fan, gave a heartfelt response.
“I’m sad for Micah,” Jones said. “That’s quite a challenge. I wish him the very best on his recovery. Michael Irvin said when he had his big surgery during, I think, his second year with the Cowboys, he said he realized what football really did mean to him. And he said the surgery really launched him into the best part of his career, because he got to feel what it might look like not to play again.
"There’s a lot of ways you can couch this thing. But, Micah, I wish you the very best.”

Parsons was well on his way to having a career-best year.
Posting 12.5 sacks, 26 quarterback hits, and 12 tackles for loss, Micah was the player Green Bay expected him to be, and one some Cowboys fans wish they still had.
But now, Micah will be shelved for the best part of a year, and while some think he could return earlier, we imagine the Packers will be cautious with their star pass rusher.
The Lion might be injured, but make no mistake, he'll be back. And he'll also be a subject of Cowboys conversation ... and maybe even emotion.
