Brown has been the talk of the town after his two touchdowns agaisnt the Seahawks, but he is hardly a sure thing for a roster spot.

For some, his efforts at Lumen Field secured his spot on the Cowboys roster; for others, they want to see more.
With CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy, and KaVontae Turpin as the top four receivers, if Dallas is to keep five on its roster, then Brown is likely battling with Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jonathan Mingo for that spot.
A big indicator will be who suits up against the Arizona Cardinals, as those who don't play are most likely to be on the roster.
Are the Cowboys keeping a "secret'' here?
To offensive coordinator Klayton Adams, everything is on the table with Brown, but he stated that he has to prove his worth consistently.
"Those are all kind of discussions for the personnel-type meeting," Adams said on Brown's availability against Arizona. "My thought process with young guys that are battling to make the team is that we have to give them opportunities to show consistency and show that you can do it on a week in and week out basis."
So, logic would suggest that Brown, along with Mingo and others, should get some reps against the Cardinals and then the New Orleans Saints.
But just because Brown showed out in Seattle, hauling in three catches for 62 yards and 2 TDs, that hasn't moved the needle quite enough for Adams.
In fact, it only reinforces the need to see Brown do it again, because after all, consistency is what the Cowboys coaching staff is craving.
"I don't feel any different with Cam than I do with any of the other guys because this week it might be somebody else that shows up and makes a couple of plays," Adams added.
"This is a pretty competitive roster and specifically a pretty competitive receiver room, and you're going to have to be able to do it every week to make this team. That's what we're going to need to see from all of them."
So yes, Brown has made a seriously good start to the preseason, both in practice and in Seattle, but that is only half the battle, because as Adams says, it might be another player who makes plays against Arizona.
Consistency is the name of the game for Brown and the other receivers, and while his performance against the Seahawks was noteworthy, it can't be the only good thing he does this preseason.
