With the National Football League pre-season underway, the Dallas Cowboys in promotion of the sport and themselves plan to host an Open Training Camp at the Cowboys facility at The Star on August 25 & 26
FRISCO - With the National Football League preseason underwaym the Dallas Cowboys are coming home ... and plan to host a segment of training camp back here in Frisco ... with fans able to attend.
The workouts will take place at Ford Center at The Cowboys facility at The Star on August 25 and 26.
The 'Open to Fans' Training Camp starts on Tuesday, August 25 at 5:30 p.m. with an Opening Ceremony sponsored by American Airlines, including entertainment from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
And yes, there will be appearances by Cowboys mascot Rowdy and others, with the fun included a Drone Show on the Tostitos Championship Plaza starting at 8 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m.
With player appearances, a performance by the DCC, and a special announcement ... the event looks to be packed with stuff to do. And that's just the first day!
The events return the next night for an event called "Cowboys Night,'' which takes place starting at 6:00 p.m. inside Ford Center.
The sessions are slated to be broadcast on TXA 21 and to stream on DallasCowboys.com.

Both Dallas Cowboys Training Camp practices are free and open to the public. Doors to Ford Center will open to the public starting at 4:30 p.m. on both days.
