Cowboys add Parris Campbell, a former Eagles Super Bowl champion, bolstering their receiving depth for the upcoming season.

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys are promising big moves on the horizon - moves that are "dramatic differences,'' as team owner Jerry Jones puts it.

But along the way? Some "little'' moves are also worth noting.

As the Cowboys' season closes, the offseason opens, and with it comes "futures'' signings of bit players with promise.

Dallas executed two of those on Monday - with more to come once the players' "exit interviews'' here inside The Star are complete - with former NFL  second-round pick wide receiver Parris Campbell re-upping with the team.

Also re-signed from the practice squad was offensive lineman Nick Leverett.

Campbell (6-0, 208) was with the Cowboys in training camp but was cut in August after sustaining a leg injury.

Eventually, he participated in two snaps as a special-teamer in 2025.

Campbell, 28, is no longer the prospect that he was coming out of Ohio State, where he was a superstar, in 2018 catching a then-record 90 passes in 14 games.

In short, he doesn't seem much of a threat to break into the Dallas lineup, which features CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy and KaVontae Turpin in the top wideout spots.

Flournoy this year broke out and had 40 catches for 475 yards. Turpin went for 26 catches and 398 yards.

But Campbell’s career does feature skins on the wall, including his involvement with the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles - who took him in Round 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft.
