'I'm Tired Of It!' Dak Prescott Goes Rogue In Blunt Cowboys Criticism cover image

When Dak talks like this, Cowboys Nation takes notice.

One of Dak Prescott's best qualities as quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys is how good he is at the podium.

Always saying the right thing, never putting the blame on anyone else and always striving to get better as a team.

Well, Dak might have just gone rogue.

With the offense this season one of the best in football, averaging 27.7 points per game with Dak getting his fourth Pro Bowl nod, the defense clearly dragged this team down.

Having a top offense and the NFL's worst offense isn't a recipe for success.

And Dak, who is usually so careful with his words, might have just let some of the frustration at how the season transpired out -- and it is clear where he thought the team failed.

"Yeah, it's frustrating, tired of it, I've got to deal with it,” Prescott said on the poor 7-8-1 season. “But it's up to me to control. And that's why I say this year was as frustrating as anything. There's been a number of times being up here talking and saying, I need to fix this. I need to get better at this, and to have a season where it wasn't on my play, I mean, I take accountability, don't get me wrong, and in so many ways.

"The leader I am, I'm frustrated, always trying to figure out what could have done better. I do still put some of it, on myself, but unfortunately, we just didn't get it done, and I'm tired and sick of it, but it won't change the way that I approach this offseason.”

Goodness me. Has Prescott finally had enough of how this team approaches football?

Reading between the lines here, it appears Dak knows the defensive performances cost this team playoff football. Yes, the offense isn't absolved of blame either. The second-half failures are Dak's fault.

But for most, the defense has been the weight dragging this team down to the depths.

In 2025, it is what sunk this ship, and Prescott has had enough.

Often so precise with his words, No. 4 just let it be known to the NFL world and Jerry Jones that he's tired of how this franchise goes about its business.

As the star turns, folks.
