It appears one NFL analyst thinks Pickens is at the top of the totem pole in Dallas.

Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens has everything in front of him in 2026 after signing his franchise tag.

Coming off a 2025 season where Pickens posted 1,429 yards and 9 TDs, to earn his first-ever Pro Bowl nod, now he has to do it again for the Cowboys.

With Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, George has every chance to show the NFL world that last season wasn't a fluke, and that he can be "that" guy for Brian Schottenheimer's offense.

We knew how talented Pickens was from his time in Pittsburgh, but there was always drama attached to it. There wasn't in Dallas.

But now, the 2026 season is one where Pickens is betting on himself and if it works out, a monster contract will be coming his way next offseason.

And former NFL quarterback and now analyst Tim Hasselbeck thinks George could be the most talented Cowboy on the roster.

"He's rare, and he might be the most talented Dallas Cowboy," Hasselbeck said on NFL Live. "That's saying something because the receiver opposite him would be a No. 1 receiver anywhere he goes. I do think he can duplicate it. To me, it's always been, is he locked in, is he focused?

"His size, speed, and length is incredible, and you pair that with a really good quarterback, you get the numbers you saw a year ago. I would only expect them to grow. I do think betting on himself is the right move. Doing that, I think a year from now, he's going to be pretty happy with what he's looking at in terms of a long-term contract with somebody."

So, Hasselbeck is all in on George, and it is easy to see why.

We know the incredible physical plays he did last season, plus the highlight reel catches. Pickens was a chain-mover for the Cowboys.

Now entering his second offseason with Dak and Schottenheimer, there's no reason to think that 2026 won't be as good as 2025, right?

Of course, it depends on how much of the offseason program George does.

As for the "most talented Cowboy" comment, for me, it's still No. 88, as Lamb has proven himself over the last handful of years, but Pickens has one stellar season.

But still, there's no denying Pickens' talent, and that will be key to him getting a big payday next offseason.
