There are position battles everywhere, along with how Parker's defense looks, but I've got my eye on one storyline that has gone a little bit unnoticed.
When the Dallas Cowboys hit the practice field in Oxnard, all eyes will be on Christian Parker and the defense.
With so many changes, how the group looks against Dak Prescott and Co. will be an interesting watch. So too will be the left tackle battle between Tyler Guyton and Nate Thomas, along with how Jaydon Blue and the stable of running backs look.
But for me, while those are all rightly at the top of the watch list in Oxnard, I've got another that maybe isn't on everyone's radar, and it should be.
How tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford fits into the offense.
We know that Jake Ferguson is the starter, and Spann-Ford has usurped Luke Schoonmaker as TE2, but what that looks like, and more importantly, what Spann-Ford can offer the offense is what I'll be watching for.
By all accounts at OTAs and minicamp, it is clear as day that Spann-Ford is TE2, as he offers so much more than Schoonmaker to the offense, it's not even close.
Last offseason, Brevyn made waves for his receiving ability in camp, routinely making plays, and it is expected he'll continue to do that once the team arrives in Oxnard.
He was on the radar last offseason, now he's firmly in the mix to be a key cog in Brian Schottenheimer's offense.
While he was a bit-part player last season (started five games, 9 receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown), it is clear that the Cowboys want Brevyn to be more influential in the passing game.
And he's got the physical stature to be a matchup nightmare.
At 6-7, 270lb and with the ability to move like a receiver, Spann-Ford has all the tools to be a menace in the passing game. Also don't discount his ability as a blocker in the run game either.
Seeing Spann-Ford take his game up a level in 2026 will put Schoonmaker firmly in the rearview mirror (if he isn't already), and could put a little heat on Ferguson as well.
Yes, he found the end zone eight times in 2026, but his yards per reception wasn't good (7.3), so that has to improve. And Spann-Ford is a vertical threat as well.
There will be a lot to watch in Oxnard, and for me, Spann-Ford's rise to TE2 in Schottenheimer's offense is perhaps one of the most under-the-radar storylines this offseason.
And if he has the training camp I expect, Brevyn won't be under the radar for much longer.
