Predictions
The Dolphins have struggled to do much of anything to quarterbacks through two weeks, and that could change now that Chop Robinson will be back on the field. However, Mahomes and the Chiefs offense can also attack the Miami defense with plenty.
Tight end Travis Kelce has looked good, as have wide receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton. Miami will need to be on their A-game to try to keep pace with this loaded pass-catching unit.
The Dolphins may establish a strong run game to produce a strong offense of their own, but it will not be good enough.
Chiefs 24 - Dolphins 14.
More
As stated, Robinson will be back on the field after missing Week 2 due to a concussion in practice the week leading up to the game. Considering his concussion concerns, the edge revealed that he will wear a Guardian Cap moving forward.
Without a sack this season, the Dolphins' pass rush needs to get going against the Chiefs, or they may be in for a long day.
Miami will be without rookie pass catcher Caleb Douglas, who currently has an ankle injury. This may be the time that the team will need to utilize veteran Jalen Tolbert, who has remained inactive through the first two games.
There has been a lot of talk regarding the touches that running back De'Von Achane has received thus far. Head coach Jeff Hafley may need to offer more of a promise of his 40 touches to ensure this Dolphins offense can stay potent.
