Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley offered some injury updates on wide receiver Caleb Douglas, right guard Jonah Savaiinaea, and more.

With the bye week over for the Miami Dolphins, the team is now gearing up to take on the  New York Jets on Sunday.

Bye weeks are usually a good time for injured players to get an extra week of recovery before coming back, and that could be the case for multiple key players. Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley offered some injury updates on those key players, including wide receiver Caleb Douglas and right guard Jonah Savaiinaea.

Douglas has been out since Week 2, after he suffered an ankle injury. That injury led to three missed games, but he appears to be ready to go for Week 7.

During media availability, Hafley stated that Douglas will be "limited" on Monday but he has been working his way back to the lineup with strong practices over the past two weeks.

"Caleb will be limited today. We'll see how he looks today and progresses to Wednesday. I think there is optimism there ... if he can get ramped up by Wednesday, it will be good to get him back out there," Hafley said.

Douglas was the top target for Malik Willis prior to the ankle injury that he suffered. The offense could receiver a major boost if the rookie receiver is able to return and play against the Jets.

Additionally, on offense is guard Savaiinaea. He suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 and missed the second half of the game.

When speaking to the media, Hafley said that the right guard will also be limited. He could appear on the injury report on Wednesday with that same designation, but there is a chance he will be healed and ready to play on Sunday.

Cornerback JuJu Brents also left Week 5 with a stinger, but Hafley indicated that he will be limited during the team's practice today. He could also return to full action come Wednesday, when the week of practice truly starts for Week 7.

Running back Jaylen Wright also had a reaggravation of his foot injury, but Hafley stated that the back may be ready to go on Wednesday.

There are some players who have been on IR or the PUP who are eligible to return this week.

Linebacker Kyle Louis, who was pegged as a starter, could be activated this week. If he is activated, his 21-day practice window will be opened, but there is no guarantee that he plays in Week 7.

Cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. is also "close" to returning, says Hafley. The Dolphins head coach stated that he would be back at some point this season, and that appears to be the case in the next few weeks.

The Dolphins roster is getting healthier in terms of players finally coming back who have not appeared in the 2026 season thus far.
