The Miami Dolphins' injury report has multiple names, and one to watch is Chop Robinson.
The Miami Dolphins have a very limited injury report leading up to their matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, and now the team has a more concerning list of names.
Ahead of their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, the injury report contains a very concerning injury. Linebacker Chop Robinson is dealing with a concussion and was limited during practice.
In addition to Robinson, the full injury report is as follows:
Ronnie Harrison Jr., LB - Hamstring, DNP
Tucker Addington, LS - Shoulder, Limited
Chop Robinson, Edge - Concussion, Limited
Seydou Traore, TE - Thumb/Achilles, Limited
Dante Trader, S - Hamstring, Full
Malik Willis, QB - Toe, Full
The most concerning of the injuries on this initial report is Robinson. He could potentially be ruled out for Week 2 if he does not complete all of the concussion protocols by the end of the week.
Additionally, long snapper Tucker Addington being limited is also concerning. The Dolphins did make a move to ensure they have insurance in case Addington cannot play, as the team signed long snapper Cal Adomitis to the practice squad.
Miami nearly ran into a big issue during the game, where they had to utilize their backup and emergency long snapper option, which is rookie linebacker Jacob Rodriguez.
Now, it would be Admoitis who would step in and be the long snapper if Addington is too injured to play.
Despite quarterback Malik Willis dealing with a toe injury, which would be a concern, he was a full participant.
Harrison is also a concern, as he was dealing with a hamstring injury in Week 1 but was able to be upgraded in time to play against the Raiders. Considering he is now popping back up on the injury report with the same ailment and is limited, he could be considered a player to sit so he can get fully healthy.
Hamstring injuries can be tricky and can linger for a long time. Harrison could also potentially injure himself further if he pushes his body too much.
This is also the first of three injury reports for the Dolphins. The third and final report will be released on Friday, and many of the players on the list could very well be upgraded during that time.
Robinson and Harrison being limited for multiple weeks would be concerning, especially for the edge position. The Dolphins failed to generate much pressure on quarterback Kirk Cousins, and they will need to do so against Brock Purdy to have a chance at winning.
Losing Robinson would severly impact that room.
