The Miami Dolphins have released their second injury report for Week 3, and the wide receiver room continues to take hits.
The Miami Dolphins brought back AJ Henning to the practice squad, and it is believed that he will be elevated for the team's Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. A major reason for this is that the room continues to get hit with injuries.
Miami released the second of their third injury reports ahead of their home opener, and it appears that rookie Caleb Douglas is unlikely to play.
Apart from Douglas, Ryan Miller was also downgraded.
The full injury report is as follows:
| Rob Beal Jr. | EDGE | Hamstring | DNP | DNP |
| Caleb Douglas | WR | Ankle | DNP | DNP |
| Ryan Miller | WR | Hip / Back | Limited | DNP |
| Tucker Addington | LS | Shoulder | Limited | Limited |
| Chris Bell | WR | Knee | Limited | Limited |
| JuJu Brents | CB | Knee | Limited | Limited |
| Jaylen Wright | RB | Stinger / Foot | Limited | Limited |
| Chris Johnson | CB | Shoulder | Full | Full |
| Chop Robinson | EDGE | Concussion | Full | Full |
| Seydou Traore | TE | Thumb | Full | Full |
Douglas is currently dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered during Week 2, as he was rolled on top of. He was seen in a walking boot, and it appears the ankle injury he suffered is more significant than expected.
There is a chance that Douglas could be upgraded in the third and final injury report, but signs point to him not being able to take the field.
Additionally, Miller was downgraded and is also in danger of missing the Chiefs matchup. He is currently dealing with a hip and back injury and was limited on Wednesday and then missed practice on Thursday.
Miller caught the lone touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers, which was a 74-yard bomb from quarterback Malik Willis.
Fellow receiver Chris Bell has been limited due to a knee injury, but he spoke to the media and stated that he will play. Being limited does not mean that a player will be ruled out.
The same can be said for long snapper Tucker Addington, who remains limited by a shoulder injury. However, the Dolphins waived long snapper Luke Basso to make room for Henning, which points to Addington being able to play.
Robert Beal Jr. remains out of practice due to a hamstring injury, but fellow edge Chop Robinson is expected to play after suffering a concussion the Wednesday before Week 2. Due to the concussion, Robinson also stated he will wear a Guardian Cap moving forward.
The only other concerns on the injury report are with cornerback JuJu Brents, who has also remained limited due to a knee ailment, and running back Jaylen Wright, who suffered a stinger and foot injury in Week 2.
As the Dolphins are set to face the Chiefs, they may be without some key players. The receiving room has already been a bit shaky to start the season, and losing Douglas will be a big hit.
Henning may provide some depth, but that might also not be enough considering Willis has yet to establish a strong chemistry in the passing game.
