The full inactives list for the Miami Dolphins hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in the home opener.

The Miami Dolphins are heading into Sunday's matchup with a 0-2 record, as they face a high-powered offensive team in the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the home opener for the Dolphins and a chance to not fall to 0-3.

The Dolphins have now listed their full inactives list for the game, which as follows:

RB Jaylen Wright

WR Caleb Douglas

QB Brady Cook (emergency third)

CB Marcellas Dial Jr.

Edge Robert Beal Jr.

G DJ Campbell

T Chukwuebuka Godrick.

Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright had been doubtful heading into the game, as he has been dealing with a stinger and a foot injury that he sustained during Week 2. With Wright now out, Miami will utilize Ollie Gordon II as the direct backup to De'Von Achane.

Wide receiver Caleb Douglas had already been ruled out by head coach Jeff Hafley, as he suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 as well. Douglas was rolled on and suffered the injury that will now keep him out for at least one game.

Edge Robert Beal Jr. is also dealing with a hamstring injury and had previously been ruled out by Hafley as well.

With Beal out, the good news for the Dolphins' pass rush is that Chop Robinson is back in after missing Week 2 due to a concussion. Robinson also stated that he will wear a Guardian Cap moving forward to offer more protection.

The rest of the list make up the same inactives that the Dolphins had in Week 2 as well.

Dolphins Keys to Victory

Miami needs to be on its A-game if they want a chance against the high-flying Chiefs. With Patrick Mahomes returning from a season-ending injury in 2025, he has since looked like his old self.

Mahomes has thrown for 566 yards and five touchdowns through two games thus far. He has one interception, and this Miami defense will need to get in his face to cause chaos and potentially force some turnovers.

Leaning on the run game and Achane will also be key, as he has yet to truly hit his stride. Establishing a strong run game against the Kansas City defense will take pressure off the passing game.

Quarterback Malik Willis has yet to establish very strong chemistry with his receivers, but he is getting better each week. The issue is that Douglas is out, and he has been one of Willis' top targets thus far.

Now, it will be Chris Bell, Malik Washington, Ryan Miller, and presumably Jalen Tolbert who will step up and help the passing game.
