Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito shared his take on the team's winless season.

The Miami Dolphins remain 0-5 this season, and the team is heading into the bye week with much to look at.

Following the Week 6 bye, the Dolphins' opponents are just as tough as they have been over the past five weeks. With the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and Indianapolis Colts on the horizon, Miami's first win may not come soon.

Despite the less-than-ideal outlook, former Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito has his own take on the issues that the team has had in 2026.

During an exclusive interview with DJ Siddiqi on Covers.com, Incognito spoke about the roster construction and the rebuild in South Florida. Despite what he views as a very weak roster, he also believes the Dolphins will win a game at some point.

"It's so hard to win in this league. I could see them getting a win somewhere along the way. They're going to get someone somewhere along the way.

"It's impossible, or it's very difficult to go through a season without getting a win because the season is so long, right?

"With the injuries and the way teams are up and down and travel, there's so many factors that go into it. I give them a good shot at getting a win. I don't know about many more after that, though," Incognito said.

Incognito believes that Miami will notch a win, due to how hard it is for teams to go undefeated, especially in this era of football. With injuries, the length of a 17-game season, travel, and more, he believes that the Dolphins will face a very tired team at one point.

Incoginito also does not believe that the Dolphins will win much more than that.

It is hard to argue against what Incognito is saying, simply because the team has yet to win a game. Even as teams are beginning to figure themselves out, Miami was not able to use that to their advantage.

To the Dolphins' credit, they came close to a win against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4, losing 15-10. They also nearly pulled off a win against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, losing 31-24.

Incognito mentioned the fight that has been shown from head coach Jeff Hafley's young squad, but also stated that the roster has not shown much more than being a bit hard to deal with at times.

There is plenty of football left to play, and the Dolphins could very well notch a win or more as the weeks go on. However, they look to be a team that is continually struggling due to their issues across the board.

Incognito joined the Dolphins in 2010 and was a strong lineman for four seasons. He was cut by the team when it was reported that he "bullied" fellow lineman Jonathan Martin.

Martin spoke publicly years later that Incognito's words and the level of that bullying were highly overstated, and Incognito criticized the media plenty for painting him as a villain before, during, and after his release.
