With AJ Brown trade rumors swirling once again, could we see him be dealt to play alongside this elite AFC quarterback?
Yes, we know, more AJ Brown speculation. At this point in the offseason, until the draft rolls around, unfortunately for Philadelphia Eagles fans, there isn't much more to talk about unless someone else wants to come out of the woodworks to bash Jalen Hurts.
Despite comments from some within the Eagles organization stating that "AJ Brown is an Eagle," that hasn't been enough to keep everyone quiet on the possibility of the elite wide receiver being moved.
The leaders in the clubhouse to acquire Brown have consistently remained the New England Patriots, with some light interest coming from the Los Angeles Rams as well, earlier in the offseason.
NFL.com recently released a list of six teams that would be excellent fits for Brown, and one of those on this list was a surprise that nobody has been talking about.
Could AJ Brown Get Dealt to the Chargers?

Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn ImagesThe list has one of the teams that would be a great suitor for Brown's talents, the Los Angeles Chargers.
Eagles Receive:
- 2026 1st-round pick (22nd)
- WR Quinten Johnston
Chargers Receive:
- WR AJ Brown
- 2027 4th-round pick
This would be an interesting move for both teams. The Chargers could secure an unquestionable wide receiver one.
The Eagles would be able to add depth to the receiver room with a former first-round pick in Quinten Johnston and move forward with their idea of Devonta Smith as their wide receiver one.
They'd also gain another first-round pick to use this draft, and we all know how good Howie Roseman is when it comes to the draft. However, it remains unlikely that Brown would be moved prior to June 1st, given the salary implications.
AJ Brown and Ladd McConkey would be the best one-two punch at the position that Justin Herbert has ever had in his career. Brown would also fit well with the Chargers' new offensive coordinator, Mike McDaniel.
McDaniel's offenses have done quite well when it comes to in-breaking routes, and according to NFL NGS, Brown tallied the 6th most receiving yards on such routes last season. The Chargers also happen to have the third most salary cap space in the league.
As is the case with every offer the Eagles will be presented with for Brown, it all comes down to whether or not the return is what they're after. They're not just going to give away one of the best receivers in the game after all.
