The Philadelphia Eagles were given an interesting prediction for the upcoming trade deadline.

The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to bounce back this week against the Los Angeles Rams following a blowout loss to the Chicago Bears.

Philadelphia now sits at 2-1 on the season, but this team hasn't looked overly inspiring through the first few weeks. The Eagles' offense has been fairly inconsistent, and this has caused problems for them.

But the defense also hasn't been that great, and this is an area that the Eagles have prided themselves on. So, heading into the next part of the NFL season, the Eagles will be trying to right the ship, hoping to put a better showing out on the field.

If they can't, changes could be coming to the organization, especially with the trade deadline coming up. And as always, the Eagles may be one of the more active teams at the trade deadline again.

NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN listed the Eagles as a team that could be looking to add at the trade deadline this year. Graziano mentioned that Philadelphia is always trying to improve the roster, and that should be no different this year

One interesting note from the piece from Graziano is that he says to not expect Philadelphia to sit on their hands this year. The Eagles are looking to get back to bring a Super Bowl contender, and the team has started to show some cracks early this season.

Philadelphia won the Super Bowl in 2024 behind a strong defense, and this is where the team wants to get back too. If the Eagles see an opportunity to add at the deadline, general manager Howie Roseman will surely take it.

Roseman has been one of the more aggressive and opportunistic executives in the NFL during his tenure, and the Eagles have benefitted from this. Philadelphia doesn't have a ton of draft capital to use, but Roseman has been able to get creative in the past.

After the game with the Rams, the schedule doesn't get much easier for the Eagles, as they will travel to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Philadelphia needs to take down Los Angeles this weekend; otherwise, they could find themselves sitting at 2-3 after the next few weeks.

This group has a lot of experience on the roster, and they are much better than what has shown out on the field so far. But the Eagles will need to prove themselves again, and taking down a team like the Rams could bring a lot of confidence back to this organization.
