One of the stars of the Philadelphia Eagles has been given a strong prediction entering the team's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Philadelphia Eagles have their hands full this week, hosting the Los Angeles Rams in a game that both teams need to win.

Philadelphia is coming off a tough loss to the Chicago Bears that saw the group get run off the field in primetime. The Eagles now sit at 2-1 on the season, and following this game with Los Angeles, the schedule gets fairly tough.

For the Rams, they fell to the Denver Broncos a week ago, sitting at 1-2 on the new season entering this game. Los Angeles hasn't been able to put a consistent performance on the field, but a win over the Eagles on the road could offer them some confidence the rest of the way.

The Eagles want to put together a better showing than what they had a week ago, and it all starts on defense for them. Philadelphia has normally had stronger units over the last few weeks, and while this season they have played decently, they have shown some signs of cracking.

This has led to major questions about the group entering the game against the Rams. But this team has all the confidence in its guys, hoping that they can set the tone against Los Angeles.

Senior Staff Editor Brooke Cersosimo of NFL.com has total faith in the Eagles' defense this week, predicting that they will score a touchdown. Cersosimo has predicted that Eagles star defensive tackle Jordan Davis will have a fumble recovery following a sack of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, taking it back for a score.

Last season, Davis was able to block a field goal at the end of the game against the Rams, taking it back for a touchdown. And if he can make it happen again, it would be an impressive feat for the star defensive tackle.

Davis is one of the tone-setters for the Eagles unit, and he will need to take charge against this explosive Rams offense. Los Angeles loves to pass the ball with Stafford, but they need to establish the run game beforehand.

This is where Davis comes in, and he has the ability to complete change a game by himself. Davis has yet to record a sack or a tackle for loss this season, but this could be the week for the Eagles star.

Philadelphia will be looking to him to help get them a win this week, and Davis has to show up in order for the Eagles to have a chance. Kickoff between the two teams is set for 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.
