This is good news.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was able to sleep before the Jacksonville Jaguars game in London, according to his agent, Nicole Lynn.

It was initially believed that Hurts was told by doctors not to sleep after his initial diagnosis of a superficial blood clot while in London.

Hurts has multiple blood clots in his lungs. He will undergo treatment for the blood clots that will take at least three months.

Hurts is on blood thinners. He will be around the team but will miss the rest of the 2026 season.

Without Hurts, Philadelphia will likely miss the playoffs this season for the first time since 2020.

Why did the Eagles let Hurts play against the Jaguars? That is the question Philadelphia must answer moving forward. Allowing Hurts to play after he didn't sleep much is inexcusable.

It will be interesting to see if Hurts and his camp take any legal action against the Eagles. Hurts should not have been cleared to play against the Jaguars.

The Eagles are 59-28-0 in the regular season with Hurts under center. For all the fans and pundits who wanted Hurts traded this offseason, they will now see how bad this team is without Hurts leading the offense. The grass is not always greener.
