Philadelphia snagged a massive offensive lineman with the 207th pick. Can this Georgia Bulldog's power and intelligence anchor the Eagles' trenches?

Philadelphia Eagles Draft Giant Six-Foot-5, 334-Pound Enforcer

The Philadelphia Eagles are continuing to work on the trenches during Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft

The Eagles have had solid offensive and defensive lines during the tenure of general manager Howie Roseman. The offensive line has been critical in helping the offense tone one of the better rushing teams in the league.

With the No. 207 pick (sixth-round) in the draft, the Eagles selected offensive lineman Micah Morris out of Georgia. The six-foot-five, 334-pound offensive lineman could grow into a key player for Philadelphia.

Scouting Report

Lance Zierlein of NFL Media figured Morris would be a round seven pick or could be a drafted free agent. The Eagles might have reached for Morris, but they're getting an offensive lineman that has some smarts.

"Morris has a rare blend of intelligence, power and movement talent, but the profile is a little too uneven," Zierlein wrote. "He plays with a sky-high pad level and outside hands. He’s very strong in his upper body and is relatively light on his feet as a move blocker.

"His broad frame can be tough to get around in protection, but his inconsistent base width could lead to leakage against athletic rushers. Playing at a lighter weight would make him quicker/more efficient and could be the key to making it in the league."

What Micah Morris bring to the Philadelphia Eagles

Morris showed solid leadership skills during his time with the Bulldogs. He wanted to be a leader during his final season at Georgia.

"Just maturing and just thinking about all the great times that I've had here, just all the good memories, the locker rooms, the camaraderie, the jokes, the friendships, the bonds that I've built here," Morris said, via 247Sports.

"Then just knowing now I'm in the older role. I'm what Jamaree [Salyer] was to me for somebody else. Now just being able to accept that role and just trying to bring up the younger guys and just lead them in the right way."

Morris won't be expected to be a leader on the Eagles just yet. He'll need to fight for a spot on the 53 man roster before earning his spot on the 46-man roster for game days.

He has the football IQ to make the league. He'll to progress as a blocker to earn a starting spot.
