The Jacksonville Jaguars have carried over last year's momentum, looking like one of the NFL's top offensive units. Trevor Lawrence and Parker Washington have spearheaded the attack, continuing to gain continuity with one another.

Through the opening three weeks, the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive attack has been on point, with the passing and running game producing consistently.

Outside of Week 2, the Jaguars have scored at least 34 points, with starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence continuing to look like he has taken a significant step with head coach Liam Coen's guidance.

On Sunday, Lawrence moved into second all-time on Jacksonville's franchise passing touchdown list, recording TD No. 103, 104, and 105.

Fourth-year wideout Parker Washington has become Lawrence's top target, ranking sixteenth in the NFL with 221 yards and finding the endzone twice.

He scored in the Jaguars' 35-6 rout over the New England Patriots, recording multiple highlight grabs on his scoring drive.

On 3rd & Goal, Washington ran an out-route to the left side, elevating for a contested grab.

But, it was called back, setting Jacksonville back to the 17-yard line.

The very next play, Lawrence went Washington's way again, threading in a seam to his top receiver.

It was another incredible grab, with Washington barely keeping the ball above the turf.

Following the win, Lawrence talked about the growth he has seen from Washington, while crediting his ability to come down with grabs through contact.

"If it’s in his vicinity, he’s shown he can make just about any play," Lawrence said.

When asked about this playmaking ability, Washington gave credit right back to his quarterback, saying "the ball is in the air — it's like you have to make those plays for your quarterback."

Dating back to last season, Washington has consistently made these plays, and has seemingly earned Lawrence's full confidence.

The ongoing contract negotiations between Washington and the front office spanned throughout the offseason, but no agreement was found.

Ahead of Week 1, General Manager James Gladstone assured media that he will not shy away from attempting to extend his young receiver throughout the season, but no further progress has been made.

Doing so sooner rather than later could save the Jaguars some significant money down the line, especially as Washington continues to break out in his expanded role.

Washington is not the type to comment or force any type of action regarding a new deal now that the season has begun, but the Jaguars' front office has the ability to reward their former sixth-round selection.

Entering a Week 4 matchup against another dynamic offense in the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jaguars may be in for a shootout, with Washington leading the attack.

Expect a high-scoring affair from Jacksonville and Cincinnati on Sunday.
