The Jacksonville Jaguars are heavy favorites to move to 4-1 this weekend in London against the Philadelphia Eagles. But, it will be on starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence to continue to make sound decisions with the football.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will travel to London on Sunday for their first international bout of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Entering the matchup, Jacksonville is nearly at full-strength, while the Eagles are reeling from significant injuries and offensive line shuffling.

While the Jaguars are expected to come away with a victory, this presents a bigger opportunity for both the offense and defense to continue to stack successes as the season continues.

On Friday morning, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith talked about the matchup, where he said that this is an opportunity for starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence to "put himself on the map."

Smith noted that the Eagles' offense has been very inconsistent and has struggled to find a rhythm, leading the NFL in 3-and-outs with 15.

If this trend continues against Jacksonville's stout defensive attack, Lawrence should have the opportunity to attack on short fields.

While Lawrence has not posted gaudy numbers through the opening four weeks, he has been extremely efficient, throwing for 843 yards, eight touchdowns, and just two interceptions.

Lawrence's completion percentage is also way up, with the former No. 1 overall selection posting a career-best 69.2% mark.

On Sunday, against the Cincinnati Bengals, Lawrence threw for only 227 yards and one touchdown, but completed 18 of his 23 passing attempts, while keeping the ball out of harm's way.

Lawrence's lessened turnover numbers have been extremely promising alongside head coach Liam Coen, who has helped harness his quarterback's live arm and limited his questionable throws.

In his previous two games against the Eagles, Lawrence has surrendered one or more interceptions, so limiting dangerous throws should be a focus.

The next step for Lawrence's growth is finding a more-consistent level of play in the postseason, as the former top draft choice is just 1-2, with a 75.8-average QBR in three appearances.

In Jacksonville's lone playoff game last year, a 27-24 loss against the Buffalo Bills, Lawrence threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

But, he was rather inefficient (18-30) and surrendered two interceptions, displaying this level of inconsistency.

Leading up to the postseason, eliminating silly throws and decisions will be a focus for Lawrence, as the margin for error gets slimmer and slimmer as the season progresses.

The Jaguars are currently in a good spot to build a lead in the AFC South race, with the Houston Texans reeling and the Indianapolis Colts entering a tough matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
