Miami and center Aaron Brewer agreed to a three-year, $52.5M extension, making him the third-highest-paid center in the NFL.
The Miami Dolphins locked up an incredibly important position on their roster, particularly after signing new quarterback Malik Willis this offseason. The Dolphins agreed to terms with center Aaron Brewer on a three-year extension worth up to $52.5 million with $37 million guaranteed.
His $17.5 million annual average value makes Brewer the third-highest paid center in the league behind Tyler Linderbaum of the Las Vegas Raiders and Creed Humprey of the Kansas City Chiefs.
It’s more than double what Brewer’s previous deal was at three years and $21 million that he signed back in 2024.
Brewer was named second-team All-Pro in 2025 and was a finalist for the first-ever Protector of the Year award, carrying the 10th best pass block win rate among qualified centers since joining Miami. Through 1,127 pass blocking snaps, he’s conceded seven sacks. He only allowed one sack and one quarterback hit last season, which stuck out in his Pro Bowl snub.

It’s the latest move in an offseason marked by overhaul under new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and coach Jeff Hafley. In determining who to let walk and who to keep in free agency, Sullivan named three “pillars” of the franchise, and Brewer was one of them alongside running back De'Von Achane, who received his extension in May.
Brewer was undrafted out of Texas State in 2020, and impressively managed to stick in the league, first with the Tennessee Titans for four years. The move now reunites Brewer and Willis, who was his former Titans teammate, experience that may prove crucial to the upcoming season.
