A nostalgic reunion looms as New York’s new regime eyes the electrifying veteran, potentially bringing the franchise legend back to the Big Apple for a historic second act.

Every NFL offseason, there are a few worst-kept secrets around the league that end up playing out over the summer. One of this year’s last remaining situations may take until training camp to play out.

The New York Giants have not played coy about their interest in veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

New York has seen a lot of change this offseason, but the nostalgic approach of reuniting with the electrifying wideout that once donned the G-Men’s blue jersey is just seemingly too much for even a new regime to ignore.

For more on what the Giants’ interest in Beckham signals, NY Giants Roundtable writer Michael Schmidt has more.

New head coach John Harbaugh has already discussed his interest in Beckham publicly, citing that a reunion for the former LSU star and the Giants may not be in store until training camp approaches. But he’s made it very clear that Beckham is working to be ready for the potential return, should the time come.

Beckham hasn’t been on an NFL roster since the 2024 season, wherein he appeared in nine contests with the Baltimore Ravens, catching just nine passes for 55 receiving yards.

Over the course of his 10-year career, the wideout has reeled in 575 receptions for 7,987 receiving yards and 59 touchdown catches.

His 5,476 receiving yards as a Giant ranks No. 2 in franchise history, trailing only wideout Amani Toomer, who remains far ahead with 9,497 yards receiving.

Beckham holds 44 touchdown catches as a Giant, ranking No. 4 in franchise history. Should he return to the Big Apple in 2026, he could climb the latter in that statistic, trailing running back Joe Morrison by only three scores and Kyle Rote by four.
