Predicting each game on the 2026 NFL schedule for the New York Giants.

The New York Giants will be coming into the new NFL season ready to build toward competing for a playoff spot.

After hiring veteran head coach John Harbaugh, the Giants now have more credibility to work with. Harbaugh brings tremendous experience to the table, including winning a Super Bowl in his career.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart returns for his second season, with New York hoping he can take another step forward. But how will the 2026 season fare for the Giants?

Here is a game-by-game prediction for the Giants in 2026:

Week 1: vs Cowboys, Loss

A SNF kickoff for the Giants puts them against the Cowboys. Dart plays well, keeping the Giants in the game, but Dallas makes one more drive late in the contest, winning by three.

Week 2: at Rams, Loss

The Rams were blown out in Week 1, leading to major frustration being taken out on the Giants. Los Angeles easily wins this game.

Week 3: vs Titans, Win

After two tough losses to open the year, the Giants get their first win of the Harbaugh era. Dart throws for 250 yards and three scores over Tennessee.

Week 4: vs Cardinals, Win

The Giants grab another win here over the Cardinals. New York starts the year 2-2, giving some thought to a potential playoff run.

Week 5: at Commanders, Loss

The Commanders' defense forces three fumbles, including taking one back for a touchdown. New York's mini win streak ends at two games.

Week 6: vs Saints, Win

Malik Nabers reminds everyone of who he is in this game, scoring three touchdowns. New York gets another win.

Week 7: at Texans, Loss

The Giants can't replicate the success from a week ago. Houston's defense dominates them, with Dart throwing two interceptions.

Week 8: Bye Week

Week 9: at Eagles, Loss

Coming off the bye, the Giants fall to the Eagles. Jalen Hurts goes off, sending New York to another loss.

Week 10: vs Commanders, Win

The Giants get some revenge from the earlier season loss. New York takes down the division rivals in this one with Dart throwing for 300 yards.

Week 11: vs Jaguars, Win

The Jaguars defense was very good a year ago, but they are no match for Nabers in this one. The star wideout goes for 200 yards in a big Giants win.

Week 12: at Colts, Win

New York gets another win, making it three in a row. The Giants' postseason chances are alive, even if slim.

Week 13: at 49ers, Loss

The Giants' win streak comes to an end. San Francisco makes easy work of this team, winning by at least 10.

Week 14: at Seahawks, Loss

Going into Seattle is never easy, and the Giants are reminded of why. Dart makes two mistakes in the second half, leading to a Seahawks win.

Week 15: vs Browns, Win

This will be a sloppy game between both teams. But New York grabs a big victory, winning on a walk-off field goal.

Week 16: at Lions, Loss

The Giants look to play spoiler against the Lions, having been eliminated from postseason play. But Jared Goff outplays Dart, sending New York to another loss.

Week 17: at Cowboys, Win

Despite the loss last week, the Giants feel good about their chances in this game. That works in their favor, knocking the Cowboys out of the postseason with a massive victory.

Week 18: vs Eagles, Loss

The Eagles come into this game with seeding on the line, and the Giants are trying to knock them down a peg. But Philadelphia finds a way, sending New York into the summer with a loss.

Final Prediction: 8-9, miss the playoffs, but show major improvement
