The Green Bay Packers will have a strong 2026 season if Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft play well.
According to Pro Football Focus, Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft headline the Green Bay Packers' reasons for optimism in 2026.
Love is one of the best QBs in the NFL and Kraft is one of the top TEs.
"The Packers have plenty of talent on offense, and tight end Tucker Kraft enjoyed a breakout before an injury ended his 2025 season," Pro Football Talk wrote. "His 2.33 yards per route run trailed only Dalton Kincaid of the Buffalo Bills, and he ranked second on the team in targets before suffering the injury. Quarterback Jordan Love is coming off the highest-graded season of his career, ranking fourth among all quarterbacks in PFF overall grade (88.8) and third in passing grade (88.7). His 5.9% big-time throw rate ranked sixth at the position, while his 2.6% turnover-worthy play rate was tied for the ninth-lowest."
Love finished last season with 3,381 passing yards and 23 passing touchdowns while completing 66.3% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Kraft had 32 receptions for 489 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns before tearing his ACL on November 2 against the Carolina Panthers.
The Packers went 9-7-1 last season and lost to the Chicago Bears in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Green Bay hasn't won a playoff game since January 2024.
Love and Kraft will have to play like superstars this season because the Packers' offense needs to be extra explosive until Micah Parsons returns from his ACL tear. Green Bay went 0-4 to finish the 2025 season after Parsons got hurt against the Denver Broncos in Week 15.
The Packers open the 2026 season against the Minnesota Vikings. It's time for Love to live up to his contract. The QB signed a four-year, $220 million contract with Green Bay in 2024.
