The Green Bay Packers have offensive linemen Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele on the injury report for Week 1.

The Green Bay Packers had three offensive linemen on their injury report for Week 1, with Aaron Banks, Zach Bako-Bewele, and Jordan Morgan. Morgan will play against the Minnesota Vikings, but Banks and Bako-Bewele are questionable ahead of the matchup.

This is not the uncertainty that the Packers want heading into the first game of the season. Green Bay will need to lean heavily on the passing attack with star running back Josh Jacobs still on the Commissioner's Exempt List.

If Banks and Bako-Bewele are ruled out, the Packers could have a long day ahead against Brian Flores and the Minnesota Vikings' creative defense. Flores excels at bringing multiple pressure packages to the quarterback, which is difficult enough to scheme against with a healthy offensive line.

Matt LaFleur will need to come up with a strong game plan to let Jordan Love sling it downfield against Minnesota's blitzes and pass rush.

Love was an efficient quarterback in the 2025 season, as he completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Love could have an MVP-caliber season in 2026 with all of the weapons they have in place.

Green Bay extended Tucker Kraft, Christian Watson, and Jayden Reed on deals this offseason, giving Love his core of weapons for the future. The Packers also have Matthew Golden on a multi-year deal, as he's still on his rookie contract.

Kraft showcased his potential in eight games last season, as he had 32 receptions for 489 yards and six touchdowns before going down with a torn ACL. Watson also had a solid year, finishing with 35 receptions for 611 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games.

Reed was hurt for much of the 2025 season, but played at a high level in 2024, as he had 55 receptions for 857 yards and six touchdowns. Golden had a limited role in his rookie season, but had a great performance in the Wild Card Game against the Chicago Bears, as he hauled in four receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown.

With this array of weapons in place, Love and the offense could be one of the best units in the league, but they will need the protection up front to be strong. Green Bay will hope Banks and Bako-Bewele are active for their matchup on Sunday against Flores and the Vikings' defense.
