The Packers currently sit in last place in the NFC North.
The Green Bay Packers are entering Week 9 of the NFL season ready to grab another win on the year.
The Packers are coming off a big win over the Carolina Panthers last week, with the team moving its record to 5-3 on the season. After a slow start to the season, the Packers have finally started to put everything together out on the field.
However, even with the recent success, Green Bay still sits in last place of the NFC North, showing the strength of the division. The Packers believe that this group can go after a Super Bowl title, and the team has been getting strong performances on both sides of the ball.
Quarterback Jordan Love has been excellent this year, being everything that this team needs and more, lifting them up throughout the season. But he can't do it alone, and others will need to step up for the rest of the year for them to win.
Green Bay will be taking on the New England Patriots on the road this week, giving the team a challenge. New England is also 5-3 on the season, with them coming off a victory over the Miami Dolphins a week ago.
Experts Gary Davenport, Brad Gagnon, Kris Knox, Moe Moton, Brent Sobleski, Wes O'Donnell, and Ian Hanford of Bleacher Report all predicted how the game between the two teams would go. Between the seven analysts, six decided to pick the Packers to come away with the victory this week.
Davenport, Hanford, Knox, Moton, O'Donnell, and Sobleski were the six to take Green Bay, showing faith in the team. Even with the game being played on the road, there seems to be a lot of confidence in this Packers group right now.
One area of concern for the Packers entering the game with New England has to come from the lack of a running game. Even with starter Josh Jacobs back in the lineup, Green Bay has struggled to run the ball, and this will be an area to watch out for.
Against a tough Patriots defensive front, the Packers offensive line is going to have to find ways to open running lanes for Jacobs and the other backs. This could help set up the entire offense for the Packers, giving Love more to work with.
The kickoff between the Packers and Patriots is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. PT/4:25 p.m. ET this week.
