Riding Drake Maye and a perfect home record, the Patriots host Green Bay in a battle of 5-3 teams.

Fresh off a Thursday Night Football victory over the Carolina Panthers, the Green Bay Packers had a few extra days to rest before they head to Foxborough, MA.

The New England Patriots just took on former Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley and backup quarterback Malik Willis as they defeated the Miami Dolphins, 24-19.

It marked the fewest points the Patriots had scored in a game since they were blown out on Sept. 27, 35-6 at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

New England has now won four of its last five games, going from 1-2 to 5-3.

Most impressively, they're 3-0 at home, a place they're itching to come back to after playing their last two games in Chicago and Miami.

Patriots only beat the 1-6 Dolphins by five points

Drake Maye was rock-solid as he completed 16 of his 20 passes for 199 yards with a pair of touchdowns. Rhamondre Stevenson looked great as well, totaling 82 yards on 19 carries.

Maye was sacked three times in a game where the Patriots fumbled the ball three times, though only one of those was lost.

The Patriots were a perfect 2-for-2 on fourth down, and they converted six of their 14 third-down attempts while the Dolphins were a perfect 50% on third down (7/14).

One of New England's biggest keys to victory was sacking Willis five times. The former Packers QB had to run for his life, and that's not a good sign for Jordan Love with how Green Bay's offensive line has looked.

New England is 3-0 at home

In their three home games this season, the Patriots defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers by 17 points, the Las Vegas Raiders by 28 points, and the New York Jets by seven points.

When focusing on common opponents, those would be the Bears and Jets.

New England won at home against the Jets, 26-19, and then lost the very next week in Chicago, 30-24.

Packers fans haven't forgotten about that Week 2 game in New York where Zach Bako-Bewele and Jayden Reed were both injured on the opening drive. Green Bay still won that game, 20-17, but it took overtime to get the job done.

Obviously, Green Bay's 31-7 victory over the Bears is a highlight of the season thus far.

Green Bay will once again be without Micah Parsons in this one, but their defense was up to the challenge on Thursday, Oct. 29, as they allowed just 19 points against the Panthers.

Both teams enter this one at 5-3 overall, with the Packers sitting at 2-2 on the road.
