The New England Patriots have announced home game themes for the 2026 regular season.
Home sweet home.
The 2026 regular season is nearly upon us, and in anticipation of the start of the new league year, the New England Patriots have announced home game themes for each of their eight contests at Gillette Stadium this fall. From Hall of Fame induction ceremonies to throwback nights, the return of the storm blue rivalry jerseys and fan appreciation days, every contest will bring a unique experience for New England fans making a trip to Foxboro.
Here’s a look at which Patriots’ home games will have something extra for those in attendance:
Week 2: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. ET
New England’s home opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be themed as a Hispanic Heritage day — an annual tradition in Foxboro that dates back over 20 years. The NFL recognizes “Por La Cultura” from September 15-October 15, highlighting the contributions of Latino players, coaches, and fans.
Week 5: vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Former New England kicker Adam Vinatieri will be recognized at halftime as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and the Super Bowl XXXVI champion team will celebrate their 25-year reunion.
Week 6: vs. New York Jets
Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m. ET
Week 6 against the New York Jets will be in recognition of the NFL’s annual “Crucial Catch” initiative. The league has partnered with the American Cancer Society to promote prevention and early detection of cancer and is celebrated throughout the month of October.
Week 9: vs. Green Bay Packers
Sunday, November 8 at 4:25 p.m. ET
New England’s showdown versus the Green Bay Packers in Week 9 is the “Salute to Service” game. A league-wide annual commitment since 2011, the NFL has raised over $75 million for the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF), Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF), Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), United Service Organizations (USO) and Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), among others. At halftime on November 8, Rob Gronkowski will be recognized as the latest member of the Patriots’ Hall of Fame, and the Super Bowl LI champion team will celebrate their 10-year reunion.

The Patriots dropped their contest against Pittsburgh in the reds, 21-14.
Week 17: vs. Denver Broncos
TBD: January 2-4, 2027
The 2025 AFC Championship Game rematch versus the Denver Broncos will serve as New England’s “Inspire Change” game date. Per NFL.com, Inspire Change is “the NFL's social justice initiative, aimed at reducing barriers to opportunity, particularly in communities of color, and showcasing how the NFL family is working together to create positive change. Inspire Change comes to life at all levels of the league — current and former players: NFL teams and ownership; and throughout the league office.”
Week 18: vs. Miami Dolphins
TBD: January 9-10, 2027
Week 18’s regular season finale against the Miami Dolphins will be the Patriots’ “Thank You Fans,” or fan appreciation, game. More details will be revealed in the lead-up to game day, but this annual tradition typically features exclusive prizes and giveaways to thank fans for their support.
