Patriots Have Three Key Players Listed as Questionable Entering Jets Game

The New England Patriots are getting ready for a big game this weekend against the New York Jets, giving the team a chance to keep things rolling.

New England has won two straight games coming into this contest, with the team finally looking like many expected them too. After a slow start to the year, the Patriots have turned everything around, now sitting with a record of 3-2 on the season.

The Jets will be coming into the game with a record of 2-3, coming off a win last week over the Cleveland Browns. New York has been much more competitive this year, and the Patriots can't overlook this group.

Heading into the game against the Jets, New England could be without multiple key players. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel revealed the updated playing status for a few players before the game.

Star wide receiver A.J. Brown has been listed as questionable for the game as he deals with an ankle injury. Brown has been out since Week 1 on injured reserve, but the team just opened the practice window for him to return.

Running back TreVeyon Henderson is also being listed as questionable to play Sunday, while he deals with an ankle injury as well. Henderson has been in and out of the lineup all season, with the Patriots taking things week by week with him.

Offensive lineman Will Campbell has also been listed as questionable for the game with New York, as he deals with a knee injury. Campbell has been able to play in every game for the Patriots this season.

It remains to be seen if any of these guys will be play to suit up for the Patriots this week against New York. But the playing status for each should be updated as the game draws closer on Sunday.

If the Patriots can grab the win over the Jets, it would be the second AFC East victory for this team. Given how close the division currently is, getting wins like this can make a major difference down the line.

New England's offense will be key in this game, even if multiple players are forced to sit out due to injury. The Patriots have gotten some life back to the unit, and they will look to keep it going this week.

Kickoff between the Patriots and Jets is scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
