The Las Vegas Raiders signed former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jamari Thrash to their practice squad Monday and placed Tyler Scott on the injured list as injuries continue to affect their receiving corps.

The Las Vegas Raiders have added another wide receiver as injuries continue to affect their depth at the position.

Las Vegas signed former Cleveland Browns receiver Jamari Thrash to its practice squad Monday, according to the team's official transaction report.

The Raiders also placed wide receiver Tyler Scott on the practice squad/injured list as part of the roster moves.

Thrash, 25, was selected by Cleveland in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft with the 156th overall pick.

The former Louisville standout has appeared in 18 NFL regular-season games, all with the Browns, recording 13 receptions for 129 yards without a touchdown.

He caught three passes for 22 yards as a rookie in 2024 before increasing his production to 10 receptions for 107 yards in nine games last season.

Now, Thrash gets another opportunity to establish himself in the NFL with a Raiders team searching for additional receiving depth.

Las Vegas has already been forced to make several changes at the position.

Second-year receiver Jack Bech was placed on injured reserve in late September after suffering a fractured forearm.

Jalen Nailor also missed Sunday's 45-17 loss to the New England Patriots because of a concussion, leaving the Raiders without another receiving option.

Meanwhile, Dont'e Thornton Jr. returned to practice last week after missing the beginning of the season with a hamstring injury.

Thornton has not yet been activated from injured reserve, although his return to practice represents a potential boost for the offense.

The Raiders previously elevated Deven Thompkins from their practice squad before the Patriots game to provide additional receiving depth.

Thrash's arrival gives Las Vegas another option while its injured receivers work toward returning.

His addition to the practice squad does not guarantee an immediate role on game day, but his previous NFL experience makes him a potential candidate for elevation if the Raiders remain shorthanded.

The move also comes amid questions about whether Las Vegas has enough talent at wide receiver.

Earlier this month, the Raiders were identified as a team that could look to strengthen the position before the NFL trade deadline.

For now, the team is addressing its depth through smaller roster moves rather than a major acquisition.

The Raiders have lost two consecutive games after opening the season 3-0 and will try to end that skid Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

With Bech sidelined, Nailor's availability uncertain and Thornton still awaiting activation, the addition of Thrash provides another potential option as Las Vegas prepares for its next game.
