Four bold predictions as the Los Angeles Rams face off against the New York Giants.

Things could not have gone worse for the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, as they fell to the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 27-7.

Los Angeles could simply not get much going on either side of the ball, and that may be chalked up to their travel plans or simply having a bad day. Either way, the Rams are now 0-1 and lost to a division rival.

Now, the Rams are set to face another potentially strong opponent in the New York Giants, who looked fantastic in their debut against the Dallas Cowboys.

With a strong test in Week 2, here are four bold predictions for Los Angeles.

Matthew Stafford Will Throw for 300 Yards

Quarterback Matthew Stafford looked to be very off in Week 1, as did the entire Rams team. What made the reigning MVP's game seem far worse was his inaccuracy.

Stafford sailed passes over multiple receivers' heads and simply did not look like himself. That said, he will now bounce back in a big way.

One way a player who underperformed can shake off their past performance is to have a big game. Stafford will throw for over 300 yards and look to be like his normal self.

Davante Adams Will Have 2 TDS

Davante Adams may not have had nearly as much yardage as Puka Nacua, but he led the league with 14 touchdown passes. Adams will pick up where he left off in 2025 and put together a two-touchdown performance.

Nacua had a strong game in Week 1 with 74 yards on five receptions, and he will remain the production guy. However, Adams will be targeted more in the red zone and come down with a pair of scores.

Aaron Donald Will Have 3 Sacks

The 49ers may not have had any trouble passing the ball, but that could be what ignites this Rams pass rush to truly do what it can do best: get after the quarterback. With Myles Garrett on IR, the Los Angeles defense will now see the return of Aaron Donald.

Donald will show how and why he can remain dominant by getting after Jaxson Dart and picking up a trio of sacks that will lead to a heavy Rams win.

The Rams Will Win by At Least 10 Points

Being beaten up in any way is usual fire for teams that had a misstep. Expect that the Rams will come out swinging, and they will focus all of their attention on beating the Giants.

Los Angeles will not simply beat the Giants, but the team will gel together in a way that shows why they were pegged as the Super Bowl favorite heading into the season.
