Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been added to the injury report with a concerning issue.

As the Los Angeles Rams are preparing to bounce back against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, the team has now been hit with a concerning injury to wide receiver Puka Nacua.

Per the team's latest injury report, Nacua was added to the list with a hip injury and did not suit up for practice on Friday.

Missing a day of practice is not necessarily a bad thing, but Nacua is now in danger of missing Week 2. That will be especially true if the receiver also misses a second day of practice.

Nacua will have the chance to rebound during Saturday's practice, and he might also still play on Monday if he is given a doubtful status heading into Sunday. Still, this is a concerning issue that could lead to the Rams' offense losing an important piece.

Los Angeles struggled mightily against the San Francisco 49ers, but one of the shining spots was still Nacua.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford looked off and kept sailing passes over Nacua's head, along with the other receivers on the team. Still, the young pass catcher tallied 74 yards on five receptions, offering a glimpse into what he may accomplish this season.

Now, Nacua could be in danger of not suiting up.

The rest of the injury report is as follows:

Safety Kam Curl and linebackers Omar Speights and Nate Landman remain. Fellow safety Kam Kinchens is also in danger of missing the game, as he has not practiced due to a hamstring injury.

Davante Adams was added to the injury report, but only as a formality, as he was given a vet rest day.

Additionally, fellow receiver Jordan Whittington is also dealing with a quad injury and did not practice.

Currently, the Rams are being hit hard in both the linebacker and wide receiver rooms.

Should Speights and Landman not be able to play, it would be Shaun Dolac and Grant Stuard stepping into the starting roles. Both have played a large part in special teams, but not in a starting capacity.

With Nacua potentially out, along with Whittington, the Rams would have Adams, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith, CJ Daniels, and Tutu Atwell presumably added into the mix as well.

The Rams have this many key players out would be tough to handle, especially against a solid team in the Giants.

Falling to 0-2 on the season might be tough for the Rams, so they will need every player available. The good news is that all of the listed players have a chance to be upgraded between now and the final injury report on Saturday.

The other additional bit of good news for Los Angeles is that Aaron Donald also seemingly confirmed he will play.
