The initial injury report for the Los Angeles Rams has some concerns with the tight end room.
The Los Angeles Rams sit at 2-3 and are set to face the Arizona Cardinals in a very important divisional matchup.
Falling to 2-4 could point to the Rams' inconsistencies being a bit mainstay, while a win can help them hold onto the idea of potentially challenging the NFC at the end of the season.
With the matchup looming, the inital injury report has been released. The list is as follows:
- Omar Speights (ILB): Knee — Full participation
- Nate Landman (ILB): Wrist/shoulder — Limited participation
- Alex Bachman (WR): NIR-Rest — Limited participation
- Colby Parkinson (TE): Shoulder — Limited participation
- Josh Wallace (CB): Shoulder — Limited participation
- Davis Allen (TE): Foot — Did not participate
The only concern right now is tight end Davis Allen. Allen did not participate due to a foot injury that he sustained in Week 5. That injury could very well knock Allen out for Week 6.
Additionally, Colby Parkinson is still dealing with a shoulder injury. That injury did not knock him out for Week 6, but being limited to start the week is concerning.
Terrance Ferguson remains out, so losing Allen would be a big hit to the tight end room. Rookie tight end Max Klare would likely have to step in if Allen is ruled out for Week 6.
Allen has only missed one practice, and he could be upgraded by the end of the week's practice injury reports.
Linebacker Omar Speights was a full participant with a knee ailment, while Nate Landman was limited due to his wrist and shoulder injuries. Landman also did not miss Week 5.
Wide receiver Alex Bachman took over punt return duties after the Rams waived Xavier Smith. He does not have an injury and was given a vet rest day.
Cornerback Josh Wallace is also dealing with a shoulder injury and was limited.
The good news is that the Rams do not have a long list of key players that are on the list. Only Allen has missed practice thus far.
Many of the players on the list could be upgraded or downgraded as the week goes on.
The only other player who will miss Week 6 is offensive lineman Alaric Jackson, who was suspended after throwing a punch at Buffalo Bills defender Bradley Chubb on Monday night.
Los Angeles will need all players healthy to deal with the Cardinals. Arizona has had their own struggles in 2026, but they always play the Rams hard.
Again, the Rams need to find a way to win and get back to .500. The back-and-forth losses thus far could come back to haunt the team down the line when they are angling for seeding or even attempting to make the playoffs.
