The Los Angeles Rams have released the inactives list, and wide receiver Puka Nacua is in, while cornerback Trent McDuffie is out.
The Los Angeles Rams have received some good and bad news via their official inactives list.
Wide receiver Puka Nacua is in despite suffering a calf injury earlier in the week, while cornerback Trent McDuffie will be out due to his groin injury.
The full inactives list is as follows:
QB Ty Simpson
CB Trent McDuffie
ILB Nate Landman
OL Bill Murray
OL Keagen Trost
TE Max Klare
McDuffie suffered a groin pull heading into Week 6, leading to the cornerback being ruled out of that game. He did return to practice ahead of Week 7, but the injury was clearly a bit too significant for him to take the field.
McDuffie had been questionable heading into the game, but he is now out.
Nacua had been hit with a calf injury on Thursday, which led to the receiver being pulled from practice early.
Nacua also missed practice on Friday and was labeled as questionable for the game. Whether or not he is on a pitch count remains to be seen, but the receiver will be playing against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Rams have been hit hard with injuries lately, as wide receiver Davante Adams, defensive tackle Poona Ford, defensive lineman Kobie Turner, and kicker Blake Grupe were all lost for the season or for multiple weeks.
Ford is out for the season with a ruptured triceps, while Grupe is also out due to a torn ACL.
Adams suffered a ruptured hamstring and may be out for six to 10 weeks. Turner was added to IR with a groin injury that will sideline him for four to six weeks.
Despite the heavy injuries, the Rams need to find a way to beat the Raiders. Falling to 2-5 this season might all but guarantee that Los Angeles will not win the division.
A 2-5 start might also put them in danger for missing the playoffs altogether.
There is plenty of football left to play in 2026, but the Rams have been struggling through six games thus far this season. After their Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles has not looked like the team everyone predicted to be a Super Bowl favorite.
Rams defensive end Myles Garrett also remains out, but he could be back for Week 8. At the very least, he can see his 21-day practice window open, with the chance that he can play.
Garrett underwent knee surgery following a nagging issue that plagued him through training camp and into Week 1.
