The Los Angeles Rams may choose to trade down, and there are three teams that would make the most sense.

It is not often that the Los Angeles Rams use their first-round picks, which was proven by the acquisition of All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie. With no desperate needs for the team, general manager Les Snead might be inclined to trade down, stacking even more draft capital.

There is a wealth of teams that could choose to trade up, and that could mean big business for the Rams in the first round. With that in mind, here are the three most logical teams that may choose to trade up.

3. Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns always find themselves among teams that want to make big moves, despite those moves never quite working out. With the team in flux once again, they may need to make some bold draft moves to build around Shedeur Sanders or Deshaun Watson.

That said, the Browns could choose to go offensive line with their No. 6 overall pick, as they still have a void at left tackle. With their next pick being No. 24, they could choose to leap up to No. 13 overall, sending the Rams something in the tune of a fifth-round pick from 2026, and possibly a third-round pick in 2027.

The Browns need a wide receiver, and the Rams' spot at No. 13 might be perfect to land someone like USC's Makai Lemon.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

One of the most intriguing teams on this list is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who remain in limbo with the Aaron Rodgers situation. Could this mean they will need to make a move to draft someone like Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson?

Simpson's stock continues to rise, but it might be a bit dubious to think Simpson is picked in the top 10. This could mean that Los Angeles, sitting at No. 13, would be the perfect spot for Steelers general manager Omar Khan to strike a deal with Snead.

Pittsburgh has two third-round picks, which could go a long way to convincing Snead to move the Rams out of No. 13 and down to the 20s.

1. New York Jets

The New York Jets are in a similar vein to the Browns. They always seem to have a wealth of draft capital to use, and they will need to do so to ensure the second season under Aaron Glenn goes much better this time around.

With the consensus being the Jets take an edge defender like Texas' David Bailey or Ohio State's Arvell Reese, the team still has plenty of needs, including a pass catcher.

The Jets pick at No. 16 next, and moving up three spots may not take that much draft capital for the Rams, who could see landing a blue-chip player while bringing in more draft capital.

New York may send a 2027 third-rounder and 2026 seventh-rounder to the Rams, so they have a shot at landing the aforementioned Lemon, Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson, or Ohio State's Carnell Tate, if he happens to fall out of the top 10.
