Free Agency Notes

The Ravens have much work to do on the roster, considering their steep losses, especially when it comes to the offensive line.

One of the biggest free agency losses will be Linderbaum, who signed a massive $27 million per season deal with the Raiders, resetting the interior lineman market by a huge amount. The former highest-paid center was Kansas City Chiefs' Creed Humphrey, who makes $18 million per season.

Adding a stalwart 17-game starter like John Simpson should be a sneaky good signing, but he is not enough for the line. He may take over the right guard spot, which was previously inhabited by Daniel Faalele, who remains a free agent.

Jovaughn Gwyn is also an interesting prospect who can work his way into a starting role.

The Ravens also tendered Corey Bullock, who could be the center the team was training up behind Linderbaum. Despite this, Eric DeCosta may need to do some extra work with linemen.

Baltimore did replace the loss of Kolar with Smythe, who has plenty of experience with Declan Doyle from their time on the Chicago Bears.

Losing both Washington and Gilman will sting, but the Ravens could look to the draft to bolster the safety unit. Kyle Hamilton remains in the building, and bringing back Awuzie was a smart decision, as he played very well in 2025.

Time will tell if Hendrickson will play up to the hype, but his past years have been stellar, minus 2025 due to his core muscle injury and surgery.
