All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby reveals details behind the trade with the Baltimore Ravens falling through.

All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby has revealed new details behind the trade with the Baltimore Ravens falling through.

In his recent podcast, "The Rush with Maxx Crosby," the three-time Pro Bowler shared how things got off to the wrong foot with the Ravens organization. In his tell-all in his most recent podcast episode, he detailed what exactly happened with the Ravens.

First, Crosby shared how things got off on the wrong foot with a flight to Washington, D.C., followed by a drive to Baltimore ahead of his Tuesday physical and meetings with the Baltimore Ravens.

"We had to drive two hours from DC all the way to Baltimore after the five-hour flight, bro. That s*** was f****** weak," Crosby said.

Crosby went on to say that he spent about an hour at the team’s facility before going for scans, but did not meet head coach Jesse Minter or general manager Eric DeCosta until he returned from meeting with doctors.

"You can just tell the energy was off. Like I dapped him up and he had like a blank face," Crosby said of his first meeting with DeCosta

Moreover, Crosby detailed how the Ravens informed him that one of their doctors had concerns with his knee, and they were going to get more opinions. He shared how he was "terrified" to hear that something might be wrong and "freaking out" about what it meant for the trade. However, the All-Pro edge rusher said that his surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, calmed him down, saying that his knee is fine.

"He's like 'Maxx, don't listen to any of that s***. Your knee is great. You're exactly where you're supposed to be. You're even ahead of schedule. You're doing everything right. They know you had surgery nine weeks ago.'"

Whether his knee is fine or not, Crosby is now back in Las Vegas and a member of the Raiders, as he's been his entire career.

He spoke on being back as a member of the Raiders and shared how things worked out the way they were supposed to.

"Everyone's got their own theory, conspiracy theory, no one really will ever admit on either side what the real truth is or whatever," Crosby said. "Ultimately, it doesn't even matter. I am where I'm supposed to be. I know that. I'll just say that. . . . S—t happens for a reason. I know exactly who I am. I’m f—ing crushing my rehab. I’m doing what I’m doing. I wasn’t supposed to be in Baltimore and that’s it. You know what I mean? I’m meant to be a Raider. It’s through my damn core. And that’s it. I leave it as simple as that."

The Ravens are now doing what they can to build a formidable team that will compete in 2026.
