The Baltimore Ravens have released their inactives list, and right guard Andrew Vorhees is now out.

The Baltimore Ravens have been dealing with offensive line injuries, as they lost both their starting and backup center in Week 3. This was followed by right guard Andrew Vorhees, who was hurt in Week 4.

There was hope that Vorhees would be able to take the field after suffering a foot injury and being limited in practice this week, but that will not be the case. The guard has been ruled out.

The full Ravens inactives list is as follows:

Center, Cam Jurgens

Quarterback, Lamar Jackson

Wide receiver, Elijah Sarratt

Guard, Andrew Vorhees

Defensive tackle, Aeneas Peebles

Outside linebacker, Trey Hendrickson

There are no other surprises on the list, as the known players out were detailed in the injury report on Friday. However, the team awaited to see if Vorhees could make it.

Vorhees was spotted on the field earlier to test if he could play amid his foot injury, but that was not the case. Instead of risking him having more damage, the Ravens chose instead to make him inactive.

With Vorhees out, it will likely be Emery Jones Jr. taking over in the right guard position.

Jurgens also remains in concussion protocol and was not able to play this week. Baltimore pulled off a major trade to bring him over from the Philadelphia Eagles.

The reason behind the trade was to give the offensive line a true center. Jurgens will take over at center, while rookie guard Vega Ioane will be kicked back to the right guard position.

With Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic suffering long-term injuries, Ioane stepped in to take over as the emergency option to finish out Week 3. He was also the starter for Week 4 and will be out there in the same position against the Atlanta Falcons.

Ioane was proven that his physicality and football mind are sharp enough that he can play both guard and center, but his performance at guard had already been very solid. Head coach Jesse Minter spoke about getting the best five out there on the line, and having Ioane in the right guard position is the best option.

Jones will now be asked to take over at guard, and he will need to protect Tyler Huntley while helping to open up run lanes for the run game.

Jones is the third-string guard, but he stepped in during Week 4 when Vorhees went down with a foot injury.

The Ravens won that game and are 3-1. They now look to improve to 4-1 and become first in the AFC North with a win against Atlanta.
