The Baltimore Ravens could have the makings of a good offensive line with a new plan detailed by a mock draft.

The Baltimore Ravens have an important responsibility in 2026 and beyond, and that is to protect Lamar Jackson. After losing center Tyler Linderbaum, the line is now in a very questionable place.

That is also coupled with the struggles that both Andrew Vorhees and Daniel Faalele had in 2025. With that said, the Ravens have a chance to draft a solid potential starting lineman with the No. 14 overall, and a new mock draft points to a plan that involves just that.

Faalele is still a free agent, and the chances of the Ravens bringing him back is slim to none. That said, the team will need to find a new starting right guard.

John Simpson, Jovaughn Gwyn, and Danny Pinter were brought in as free agents, and there should be some solid competition for the guard positions and the line in general.

With a chance to take one of the top lineman prospects out of college, the Ravens could address a major issue right away. In the new mock draft from NFL.com's Chad Reuter, Baltimore takes the consensus top guard in the draft, leading to the center position later on.

Reuter has the Ravens selecting Vega Ioane at No. 14 overall.

"Ioane's the sort of road grader the Ravens have desired in recent years. He starts at right guard in this scenario, with the team selecting a center on Day 3 to bolster the line in front of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry," Reuter wrote.

Reuter has a solid plan in place, as Ioane could take the right guard position, which was inhabited by Faalele. This leaves Simpson, Gwyn, and more linemen to compete for the left guard position.

The Ravens will not ignore the center position; they will just look to potential players like Auburn's Connor Lew, Kansas State's Sam Hecht, and more. There are some viable linemen to choose in the third round or so, and general manager Eric DeCosta is likely well aware of that.

It will just have to start with drafting a lineman at No. 14 overall. There could even be an instance where Miami's Francis Mauigoa or Utah's Spencer Fano are available.

DeCosta and the front office have a knack for taking best player available, which may have worked in the past, but should not be the case moving forward. The Ravens have some steep needs, one of which is on the line.

Picking anything but a lineman might lead to some deeper conversations with DeCosta in the 2027 offseason.
