Baltimore Ravens linebacker Tavius Robinson is now out for the season, per head coach Jesse Minter.
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Tavius Robinson is now out for the remainder of the 2026 season, per head coach Jesse Minter.
Minter took the podium on Friday to announce the news, stating that Robinson suffered the season-ending injury, but that he would not "disclose" details about what transpired with the linebacker.
Robinson had appeared on the injury report ahead of Week 7 with a pectoral injury, which kept him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Whether or not that pectoral injury was a tear of some sort remains to be seen.
This is a huge blow to the Ravens' defense, as Robinson has been a pleasant surprise in 2026. Through six games, he secured 18 total tackles, one forced fumble, and 3.5 sacks.
Robinson has now suffered two significant injuries the past two seasons. In Week 6 of the 2025 season, the linebacker suffered a broken foot, which kept him out until December.
Now, Robinson will miss the remainder of the 2026 season with whatever injury has transpired surrounding his pectoral.
With Robinson now out, rookie linebacker Zion Young should be getting a lot more opportunities moving forward.
Additional Ravens Injury Updates
Following the news on Robinson, Minter also provided more updates on other injured players.
Safety Jaylinn Hawkins will be out on Sunday as well, and Minter did not indicate how long or how significant Hawkins' injury is. The safety appeared on the injury report with a knee ailment and missed practice on Thursday.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson will also be questionable for Sunday. Minter stated that the quarterback "got a lot of work in" on Friday, but they are still working through whether or not the signal caller can play.
It sounds as if Jackson will be a game-time decision if he is not ruled out prior to Sunday's inactives being released.
If Jackson is not able to suit up, it will be Tyler Huntley taking over again. The backup is currently 1-1 this season.
Huntley orchestrated a strong comeback win in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons, but the offense all but struggled in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens have a second divisional matchup ahead with the Cincinnati Bengals, which will be important to win based on wanting to capture the AFC North crown at the end of the season.
With the potential that Jackson is out, along with Hawkins and Robinson, the Ravens will already be at a big loss on both sides of the ball.
