Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter offered some big injury updates on Zay Flowers and additional players.

Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter spoke to the media on Wednesday and offered some big injury updates. One of which, was for wide receiver Zay Flowers.

Flowers has been dealing with a hamstring injury, and Minter has offered some promising news on the pass catcher, plus additional Ravens players.

Flowers was initially dealing with a hamstring injury ahead of Week 1, but he healed up with enough time to take the field. The young receiver not only performed well, but he set a career high with 150 receiving yards.

Following the 150 yards, Flowers had to be pulled because his hamstring was aggravated. The Ravens receiver would sit out the second half of the game.

Heading into Week 2, Flowers missed practice for two straight days and was limited on the last day. Minter ended up ruling him out, which was likely due to an abundance of caution.

With Week 3 approaching, Flowers has now missed practice on Wednesday. However, Minter revealed a more promising update on the receiver.

"I think you have to take everything into account ... what's best for him. Again, we'll figure all of these out. I think we have a lot of guys in that day-to-day range right now," Minter said.

Minter stated that multiple Baltimore players are currently "day-to-day," which includes Flowers. He may have missed practice on Wednesday, but that might not mean he will miss practice the rest of the week and be in danger of missing Week 3.

Should Flowers miss a second consecutive practice, that would defintely offer some doubts about his ability to suit up against the Dallas Cowboys. Considering the Ravens also have to fly internationally, the decision for Flowers to fly with the team will need to be made sooner rather than later.

Some of those additional players that could be "day-to-day" are outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson, who is dealing with a broken finger, offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley, who has a toe injury, and defensive tackle Calais Campbell, who likely had a vet rest day.

Stanley is another concern for the Ravens, as his lingering toe injury led to him being pulled near the end of the third quarter in Week 2. When backup tackle Carson Vinson stepped in, quarterback Lamar Jackson was sacked almost immediately.

Minter may have also indicated that Stanley is "day-to-day" despite also missing practice.

Baltimore losing Flowers and Stanley for Week 3 would be tough to deal with, but both have more practice days to be upgraded enough to be able to take the field.
