Ravens interview Kevin Stefanski, more added to head coach search cover image

The Baltimore Ravens are looking at even more candidates to fill their vacant head coach position, including Kevin Stefanski of the Cleveland Browns, Kliff Kingsbury of the Washington Commanders, and Joe Brady of the Buffalo Bills.

Ahead of the Wild Card round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs, the Baltimore Ravens are busy with head coach candidates after they fired longtime head coach John Harbaugh.

The Ravens organization is looking at a long list of candidates who are looking to fill the coveted position. And it looks like even more names have been added to the list.

On Jan. 9, Baltimore announced they completed an interview with former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Stefanski had just been fired by the Browns organization after spending six seasons in Cleveland. In his first season as head coach, Stefanski successfully led the Browns to their first winning season in 13 years and their first playoff victory since 1999.

Stefanski had two winning seasons with the Browns in 2020 and 2023, and was named AP NFL Coach of the Year for both of those seasons. He ended his tenure with Cleveland with a 45-56 overall record.

Stefanski isn't the only coach who has been added to Baltimore's long list of candidates. According to reports from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Ravens have also requested interviews with Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and former Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.

Brady became the interim offensive coordinator for the Bills in 2023 before taking over full-time in 2024, helping lead quarterback Josh Allen to win the NFL MVP.

Prior to the NFL, Brady worked as the passing games coordinator/wide receivers coach for LSU, helping Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow win a national championship.

A decorated NCAA quarterback with Texas Tech, Kingsbury was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2019-2022, leading the team to a 28–37–1 record and one playoff appearance.

In 2024, Kingsbury became the offensive coordinator for the Commanders, orchestrating an offense that took the team to the NFC Championship and helping quarterback Jayden Daniels win Offensive Rookie of the Year.

These are just the latest names added to the Ravens' long list of head coach candidates.

In addition to Stefanski, Baltimore has announced that they have conducted interviews with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb, and Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.

Additionally, NFL insiders have reported that the Ravens have requested interviews with San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Brian Flores, and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
