Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle John Jenkins has returned to practice, but there are several who remain on the PUP list.

Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle John Jenkins has passed his physical and has returned to practice. This likely means he was removed from the PUP list.

Additionally, Calais Campbell has returned as well. The Ravens were allowing the longtime veteran the time to deal with his personal tragedy.

It appears the Baltimore roster is getting plenty healthy at the start of training camp, which is a good sign. The first of the bigger injuries to receive good news was the return of defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, who was surprisingly removed from the PUP list to start training camp.

The only players who remain away are linebacker Teddye Buchanan, defensive tackle Travis Jones, and center Corey Bullock. The former two are on the PUP list, while Bullock remains on the NFI (non-football injury) list.

Interestingly, Baltimore head coach Jesse Minter indicated that Buchanan was a bit farther along than Madubuike, but the linebacker remains on the PUP list.

Madubuike may have returned to practice, but Minter also confirmed that his return to play will be a "process." Considering the next injury and subsequent surgery, the Ravens are likely not wanting to promise or guarantee that he will be ready to play come Week 1.

The same can be said for Buchanan, who tore his ACL near the end of the 2025 season. Prior to the injury, the rookie linebacker was having a fantastic year and had been second in tackles with 93.

Buchanan was added to the PFWA NFL All-Rookie Team, despite his injury.

There is a big expectation that Buchanan, along with fellow linebacker Mike Green, can take a huge step. Campbell and new addition Trey Hendrickson are now in the building and can impart their knowledge on the pass rush game in a significant way.

Hendrickson continues to impress with his work ethic, and he should be the kind of player who can impact the pass rush in more ways than one.

The Ravens also have pads on, so the physicality for the players will start to show even more in training camp. Should there be cause for concern with any one unit, Minter and the coaching staff will start to figure that part out.

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta has not been shy about adding players, such as offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji. Unfortunately, the former Dallas Cowboys lineman was added to the reserved/retired list just days after striking a deal with Baltimore.

Expect that DeCosta could bring in more depth on the line, and to reinforce problem areas as training camp continues.
