Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was not spotted at the opening portion of practice that is open to the media. Whether or not he will be out there at all remains to be seen.

Jackson suffered a sprained ankle in Week 4, and he has been unable to take the field since. Despite being present during games and helping coach up the team, he has not been healthy enough to play.

Jackson suffered the ankle injury at the end of the first half of Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans. While trying to evade pressure, he was tackled from behind by a Titans defender, which caused the injury.

When halftime concluded, Tyler Huntley was warming up. Huntley took the field and finished the game against the Titans.

There was some big worry that Huntley would not be able to lead the offense, as he failed to score points in the second half against the Titans. However, he pulled off a huge fourth-quarter comeback in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons.

That was capped off by an overtime drive that secured the win.

That wasn't the case in Week 6, as Huntley and the Ravens' offense stuttered once again, only managing to pick up 10 points in the first quarter. After that, Baltimore could not get anything going, and the Cleveland Browns walked away with the win.

Now, it will presumably be Huntley taking over again under center if Jackson cannot take the field.

Head coach Jesse Minter called Jackson "day-to-day," but that designation can mean a lot of things. If Jackson does not make it out to practice on Thursday or Friday, he will be sidelined yet again.

Huntley is 1-1, but Week 6 proved that he is nowhere near Jackson in terms of truly being able to run this offense. Minter could also presumably try out rookie Joe Fagnano, but that would be a surprising thing to see.

If Jackson remains out for multiple more weeks, and Huntley continues to struggle, then it might be time to see what Fagnano can do under center.

Huntley and Fagnano were both warming up at practice, but it will likely be the veteran who will lead the offense come Week 7.

The Ravens have another tall task ahead, as they will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals. Dropping back-to-back divisional games will be tough.

That could be especially true if the AFC North title comes down to the wire at the end of the season.
