The Baltimore Ravens had a tough 2025 due to the injuries that Lamar Jackson sustained. A lingering hamstring, knee, toe, and more afflicted the signal caller, leading to a mediocre outing for the team as a whole.
To potentially make up for the injuries and to add more training to his repertoire, Jackson has taken up a unique new form of offseason training.
Jackson is set to enter his ninth season in the league, all with the Ravens. The 29-year-old has proven he is among the best quarterbacks in the league and arguably the best player in the NFL.
He is always looking for ways to evolve as he looks to take the Ravens to new heights. One of the ways Jackson is doing just that is by incorporating boxing into his training regimen.

The former Louisville Cardinal has shown he can do it all, but the one thing missing from his resume is a Super Bowl title. Following a disappointing 2025 season, Jackson and the Ravens will aim to bounce back in a major way in 2026.
It wasn't Jackson's best season. It was marred by injuries, leading to only playing in 13 games. In those games, Jackson completed 192 passes for 2,549 passing yards with a completion percentage of 63.6, 21 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a passer rating 103.8.
He led the Ravens to a 6-7 record; however, it wasn't all due to injuries. Inconsistent play hampered Baltimore in a big way, which resulted in the team moving on from long-time head coach John Harbaugh.
Jackson will enter the season with a new head coach for the first time since his rookie season. Jesse Minter is now at the helm and will look to guide Jackson to a place Harbaugh failed to.
According to DraftKings, the Ravens have 10-1 odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and have similar odds as the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC at +500.
Jackson has received plenty of scrutiny over the years due to his play and his perceived inability to lead the Ravens to the next level. However, there is no denying his talent or the foundation of success he has built throughout his career.
